Winter 2025
Voron 2.4 3D Printer
A large-format CoreXY printer assembled, wired, configured, and customized from open-source plans.

Overview
Project scope
I built a Voron 2.4 as a reliable home manufacturing platform. The project included mechanical assembly, wiring, firmware configuration, motion tuning, and a custom printed toolhead enclosure.
Challenge
Design problem
High-speed CoreXY printers depend on careful mechanical alignment, clean wiring, thermal management, and firmware tuning to maintain print quality and reliability.
Solution
Engineering approach
I completed the full machine build, configured Klipper, integrated the toolhead electronics, and designed a compact two-fan enclosure that protects the electronics while maintaining airflow.
